Since its inception in 1981, the DJD Company endeavored to be a hallmark of quality,
excellence and creativity in the industry of dairy and natural juices products. The
Company has also been keen since its inception to pursue everything new in line with
the consumer’s taste. DJD produces a large series of dairy products, cheese, long-term
milk, flavored- milk and natural juices.
DJD implemented a full-fledged modernization of its factory to meet the demands of the
local market. As a result, the number of its product now surpasses more than (60)
products of diverse flavors and assorted packaging which achieved the highest
specifications by applying the highest international quality standards
Out of the DJD’s keenness to ensure the quality of its products and the use of the best raw
materials, the Project of the Jordanian Union Company for Agricultural & Livestock
Investment was launched to establish a farm for breeding dairy cows in AL-Hallabat area. In
this farm, raw milk is produced to be sent to the Company’s factories for manufacturing and
marketing. The Company imported more than 1200 cows from Sweden and Australia and built
two of the finest feeders in the world under the name of “DeLavel automatic calf feeder”.
Moreover, cowsheds and growing herd folds were built for (3300 cattle heads) on an area of land
of 300 square dunums. Eventually, the daily production levels reached 60 tons of raw milk.
The Company develops and renews the farm herd annually by using the most modern methods of
artificial insemination and importing the best strains to inseminate cows. Moreover, there is a
drinking water desalination plant in the company project. This increases the production and provides
excellent quality raw milk.
The Company also imports the concentrated juice from leading European companies. It is worth
mentioning that all products are subject to laboratory monitoring and to the application of the highest
European standards enabling it to be a hallmark of confidence in the world of food production and to
conform to the highest quality standards.
